How to use this template

  1. Map your team to the pillars

    Place each HR role in a pillar. Small teams may have one person covering several.

  2. Write what each pillar owns

    List the work each pillar is responsible for, so requests go to the right place first time.

  3. Design the service tiers

    Decide what employees can do themselves, what the service centre handles and what goes to specialists.

What do the service tiers at the bottom show?

They show where employees and managers go for help first, from self-service to shared services and on to specialists, with the share of questions each tier handles.
