Preview and use template →A hygiene zoning map shows where raw and cooked food are kept apart and how people and product cross between zones. This example shades a ready-meal factory by zone, from goods in and raw prep through barrier ovens to high-risk cooling, assembly and packing, with a step-over changing room, the physical barrier, a packaging hatch, one-way product flow and the clothing, air and cleaning rules for each zone.
This is a planning example, not food-safety advice or a HACCP plan. Follow your local food-safety law and an approved HACCP plan.

Colour each room by its hygiene level, from low risk through raw to high risk or high care.
Draw the barrier and every point where product, packaging or people cross it: ovens, hatches and changing rooms.
For each zone, list the clothing, air handling and colour-coded cleaning kit, and what must happen at each crossing.
Blue lines show the product flow through the factory and green dashed lines show the route people take through the changing rooms. Redraw both for your own site.
