Month-end close burndown chart template

A burndown chart shows at a glance whether the month-end close is on track. This example counts the close tasks still open at the end of each working day as bars, plots the planned burndown as a line, and marks the blockers that held the close up, such as a failed bank feed and unagreed intercompany balances.

This is a planning example, not financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. Check your own policies, auditors and local rules.
