- epicdraw is free to use on your device, with no account, and that stays free.
- What you draw is yours.
- Keep backups of anything important. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we can't promise the service will never fail.
- Don't use epicdraw to break the law or to attack the service.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use epicdraw at epicdraw.app, including the optional account and sync service. By using epicdraw you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Questions? Email support@epicdraw.app.
2. The service
epicdraw is a diagram editor that runs in your web browser. Without an account, your work is saved only in your browser on your device. With an optional account, a copy of your pages is also kept on our servers and synced to other devices where you sign in.
We commit to keeping the on-device version, which needs no account, free of charge. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll say so clearly, and we won't charge for anything without your agreement.
3. Your account
- You must be 13 or older to create an account.
- Use an email address you control, and a password you don't use elsewhere. Keep it private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at support@epicdraw.app if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account in the app. Pages already saved on your devices are not affected.
4. Your content
You keep all rights in the diagrams, text and pictures you create or add ("your content"). If you sync with an account, you give us permission to store, copy and transmit your content only as needed to provide the service to you. We don't claim ownership, and we don't use your content for anything else.
You're responsible for your content and for having the right to use anything you add to it, such as pictures. If you share a page as a link, you're responsible for who you send it to. Anyone who has the link (and the password, if you set one) can see that page. We may turn off a link that breaks these terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use epicdraw to:
- store or share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to access other people's accounts or data;
- disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer our servers or API, or get around rate limits or security measures; or
- use the sync service as general-purpose file storage, or create accounts automatically or in bulk.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to download your pages.
6. Availability and backups
We aim to keep epicdraw running smoothly, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable, or contain bugs. Browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser or your device. Please download backups (Download all pages) of anything you can't afford to lose. Sync is a convenience, not a guaranteed backup service.
Each account can sync up to 25 MB of pages. We may change this limit with reasonable notice.
7. Ending the service
If we ever decide to close the account and sync service, we'll give account holders at least 60 days' notice by email so you can download your pages. The on-device version keeps working from your browser's offline copy.
8. Our responsibility to you
epicdraw is free, so we can't take on the risk of losses caused by using it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, profit, business or opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of epicdraw.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms don't affect.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects account holders, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
